LETTUCE Arctic King
Lactuca sativa
A hardy variety producing small firm heads of light green crinkled leaves. The flavor is delectable and the leaves are crisp and tender. A white seeded variety sown July to August for fall to early winter harvests or September to October in a greenhouse for February to May harvest. It can also be sown in early spring for some of the first eating greens.
