BEET Cylindra
Beta vulgaris
A long dark red, sweet variety with a uniform shape and size though the roots can grow quite large. Great for slicing, pickling and winter storage. Free from rings and easy to peel, very productive in small areas because beet roots grow down instead of out. Medium height, red veined delicious greens, for best results keep roots hilled.
