BEET Touchstone Gold
Beta vulgaris
This beet offers uniform shape and vibrant interior colour with delicious, sweet taste. The leaves and petioles are green and abundant. Germinating best in warm soils, growing well in the Pacific Northwest summer and fall but will die if left to overwinter. So harvest all those beauties in the summer and fall for wonderful eating, great raw in salads.
