BROCCOLI Purple Sprouting
Brassica oleracea
A beautiful very hardy over wintering purple broccoli with abundant sprouts which are harvested in the spring. Planted in July this plant produces small stalks of beautiful, delicious flowering shoots which are very tender and mild. Hardy to below -12C and easy to grow in the Pacific Northwest. Good steamed and raw in salad.
