Daucus carota var. sativus
Dates from the 1850’s and originally seed developed by Vilmorin in France. Cylindrical roots 7” long with a blunt tip. The fine grained bright red orange flesh is nearly coreless. Great flavour, sweet and crisp perfect for home and market gardeners for bunching, juice or freezing.
