PEPPER Chilhuacle Amarillo
Capsicum annuum
Highly prized chile from Oaxaca, Mexico, heart shaped and slightly smaller than a poblano, dusky orange, thinner walled than other chilhuacles with a fruity sharp flavour. Spicy hot chile used in mole amarillo which is a very special sauce made in the Oaxaca region of Mexico.
