An heirloom pole lima bean first cultivated in the USA around 1840. Vigorous plant producing numerous pods of beautiful white beans with maroon spots and swirls. Delicious rich flavour and can be used as a dry or shell bean. Drought tolerant and bearing even during extreme heat. Grows well in the Pacific Northwest.
