
CILANTRO
Coriandrum sativum
Annual: A bountiful herb all summer long but does the very best planted in the late summer. In Mexico it is used like parsley as a balance in fiery dishes. Also grown for its seeds, used in curries, chili sauces and exotic cuisines. Used medicinally for minor digestive problems, the seed oil is fungicidal and antibacterial.
