An heirloom dating back to the 18th century, this romaine type lettuce has a deep red head with beautiful shape, creamy yellow bronze center and a delicious flavor. The crisp, tender10”-12” heads are virtually impervious to bolting. Great for baby leaf production also, this variety is great for all season but has the most beautiful color in cool weather.
