Developed by Frank Morton combining an heirloom romaine from Europe, the divine flavour and creamy texture of a butterhead and the glorious form of an oak leaf to create this compact butter-head with oak-shaped leaves and a brilliant splash of maroon speckles. The crisp, succulent texture and sweet delicious, flavour makes this one of the best lettuces available.
