Cucurbita pepo
An exceptionally easy plant to grow producing bright golden cylindrical fruits, medium long and slender, best picked at 8″-10″ length, excellent flavour. Introduced in 1973 by W. Atlee Burpee of Philadelphia, bred from genetic material supplied by Dr. Oved Shifress. The bush type plant grows 3′- 4′ tall and is suited to smaller gardens.
