LEMON BALM
Melissa officinalis
Perennial: This member of the mint family is both a kitchen herb and a medicine and loved by bees that are often seen swarming around the plant. Easy to grow and an essential in the herb garden helpful for depression and inhibits bacteria and viruses. Just rub the leaves for a burst of lemon fragrance or use in fresh bouquets for aromatherapy.
