SQUASH Potimarron
Cucurbita maxima
The name is derived from the French: potiron (pumpkin) and marron (chestnut) this small winter squash from France (aka Courge Chataigne) is inversely pear shaped and bright orange with a flavour of chestnuts. Superb table quality and excellent winter keeper over a long storage period.
