This unique large Chinese radish is often referred to as the ‘watermelon’ radish because of its bright red flesh. This delicious radish grows best in cool weather with remarkably sweet, crisp flesh. Warm days, cool nights and adequate nutrition and moisture result in a more colourful interior. The name translates to ‘beauty heart’ in Chinese.
