BEAN Royal Burgundy
Phaseolus vulgaris
Gorgeous bush bean has dark purple pods on a vigorous, upright plant 15″-20″ high with purplish tinge on stems and petioles. Round stringless 5″-6″ pods turn dark green when cooked providing a built in blanching indicator. High yields and good germination in colder soils and bean beetle resistant. Very tasty and can be used raw in salads to add colour.
