Brassica napus
Developed from Laurentian rutabaga at Charlottetown Experimental Station to be resistant to club root. Creamy yellow globe roots are deep purplish-red above ground, 4” to 6” in diameter, pale-yellow firm, mild flesh, good flavour, no side roots, small neck with medium short tops. Great for fall and winter crops in the Pacific Northwest.
