Chrysanthemum coronarium
A specialty green, aromatic and a flavourful addition to salads, pickles, vegetables and sushi. This edible leaved chrysanthemum will grow to 3½’ tall but is best harvested at 4”-5” cutting individual leaves or the whole plant. Mediterranean native taken to the Orient in ancient times. Beautiful flowers appear on mature plants adding colour to the garden and to salads.
