Iris sibirica
Perennial: One of the most popular beardless irises. The plants make strongly vertical clumps of slender bright green leaves 2′-3′ high. In late spring or early summer flowering stems rise above the foliage with narrow-petalled purple flowers veined in a deeper shade. Grows well in full sun to light shade in slightly acid, moist, rich soil.
