SQUASH Spaghetti
Cucurbita pepo
A unique squash from Manchuria in 1890 with pale yellow flesh that after baking comes out in noodley strands that separate easily. The delicious cooked flesh can be a substitute for pasta or eaten plain. Beautiful rounded cylindrical buff-tan fruit are produced on vigorous spreading vines. Fruits average 2-5 lbs. and keep up to six months in cool dry storage.
