LETTUCE Speckles
Lactuca sativa
An old Amish heirloom variety forms a tight bibb-like head that has a yellow-green blanched heart with beautiful colour in the red speckles splashed across the apple green leaves. A good performer with delicious buttery flavour and a wonderful texture. The fabulous colours make this one a great addition to the salad garden.
