SQUASH Sugar Loaf
Cucurbita pepo
A Delicata type winter squash with mild, sweet, brown sugar flavour. Bred and released by Dr. James Baggett at the Oregon Agricultural Experimental Station in 1990. This delicious variety is cylindrical and tan with dark green stripes running end to end between 1-1.5 pounds each needing around 95 to 100 days to maturity and keeping well for about 3-4 months.
