FAVA BEAN Sweet Lorraine
Vicia faba
A beautiful plant with magenta flowers and dark green stalks. Grows about 3’ high with an abundance of pods. The beans are smaller than some varieties but make up for size with their tasty, sweet, nutty flavour. Very hardy so best planted in the fall to over winter for an earlier harvest. Delicious fresh or dried for winter use.
