LETTUCE Tango
Lactuca sativa
A beautiful curly leaf lettuce, uniform plants form tight upright rosettes 12” across with deeply cut pointed frilly leaves resembling endive in a bushy large head. Darker green than most varieties and very tender with a tangy flavour, rich in vitamins. Its frilly texture makes it an excellent choice for baby greens. Best grown in spring and fall as can bolt and become bitter in hot weather.
