TURNIP Golden Ball

Reminiscent of the summer sun the 3”-4” globes are unusually sweet, tender and mild. Deep golden yellow flesh with a fine flavour tastes more like rutabaga than an early summer turnip, delicious mashed with butter and roasted garlic and the medium sized cut leaf tops are delicious in stir fries or steamed. Very easy to grow, excellent for the home garden.
