TURNIP Snowball
Brassica rapa
An heirloom variety of turnip originally grown for both market and home gardens. Formerly called Early Six Weeks these perfectly round, smooth pure-white roots are firm, crisp, tender and sweet. An easy variety to grow and harvest, with the best taste and sweetness at 3”-4” in diameter. The delicious green tops are also good for braising.
