EGGPLANT Violetta
Solanum melongena
This heirloom has beautiful long deep purple fruit and is popular in Southern France. Members of the same family as tomatoes, eggplants need similar growing conditions with a bit more care. The elongated fruits are early about 6”-9” long and exceptionally delicious. The upright plants produce an abundance of wonderful fruit.
