A beautiful pole dry bean brought to Canada by Grandmother Matonavic from Croatia in 1928. Grown by Mrs. Matonavic in Edsen, AB, Princeton, BC, Port Alberni, BC, Errington, BC and Parksville, BC. This unique bean similar to Italian borlatti matures much earlier has maroon speckles on pods and beans and has the same delicious flavour and is easy to grow.
